Dropped by Mothron during Solar Eclipse events (post-Mechanical Bosses). Drop rate ~25%.💡 Solar Eclipses occur randomly after defeating at least one Mechanical Boss, or use a Solar Tablet to force one.

Farming Tips

Optimal Solar Eclipse Farming

Set up a long flat arena with Campfires, Heart Lanterns, and Honey pools. Use a Solar Tablet at night to force a Solar Eclipse. Mothron only appears after at least one Mechanical Boss is defeated.

Mechanical Boss Order

Defeat The Destroyer first — it's easiest and drops the most Hallowed Bars quickly. Use a Daedalus Stormbow with Holy Arrows for rapid kills.

Dungeon Chest Route

Before fighting Skeletron, scout the Dungeon entrance. You can enter without defeating Skeletron using Grapplings/Mounts to find the Muramasa chest location.

Underground Jungle Setup

For Stingers and Vine, build a small room in the Underground Jungle with a Water Candle placed and use a Battle Potion. Hornets and Man Eaters will spawn rapidly.
